I talked to Buddy yesterday, and he says he just finished his tracks for the new Brooklyn Cowboys CD. 15 sides in 2 days in Jersey. This would indicate a release date in the not-too-distant future, as his tracks are usually last. His abilities to get his parts done in one or two takes usually means he gets the short end of the budget-in both time and money. He tells me the 15 songs are all great-and that the writing may even be a little more focused this time around. Assuming the mixing budget didn't get blown on drum tracks, we should be hearing something soon. Walter and Fredo are still both on board. I'll keep you informed as I hear more.

Cool - I just got an email regarding a new album by Mike Ireland that is being mixed now and should be out in May, and as Mike quotes in the email "We're also lucky enough to be joined on a few songs by pedal steel legend Buddy Cage (New Riders, Grateful Dead, Blood On The Tracks)".
