I've been enjoying reading your posts for the past few months. Great forum! Lots of interesting players, info and fun! I'm 49 and been playing guitar since age 12 and pedal steel since age 23. I'm looking forward to participating. ...So much to learn, so little time!

Steve, thanks for your response. But no, I am not THAT Steve Miller. Although my middle initial is G, I'm not Stevie "Guitar" Miller, although I have been called that from time to time. Here are some alternates:
for S.G.M.

Steel Guitar Music
Steel Guitar Miller
Steel Guitar Maddman
Steel Guitar Moron... etc, etc

I'm sure y'all can think of a few more and eventually decide which one suites me best!
