Something different

Here is a link to an art thing I did for steel and video:

Under Video streams click on
Seoungho Cho and Bob Hoffnar -I Remember-

My set up was a standard D10 into an old Tube Screamer( overdrive pedal) into an amp. No overdubs or reverb.

Its a Quicktime stream so you lose quite a bit of fidelity but thats how it goes with the internet.

Hi Bob, thanks for sharing!!
It's a beautiful art-work, beyond a lot of musical borders. Brings back a lot of nice memories of the rehearsals at my home, the studiosession, the nice conversations and Brussels performance. Thanks again, CD is on the way!

Bob,
that's just amazing. Today I listened to the concert of Susan Alcorn that she gave at the 10th Festival of Experimental Music and it's so inspiring to see how inspiring these two different approaches - hers and yours - are.

Your music fitted amazingly well to the video-sequences. Old photos never lost their magic, time-stopping appeal to me (sometimes I buy old collections of photos on flea markets), so from that point of view, I think it's an outstanding work.

Thanks for sharing that with us.

Excellent work, Bob. IMO it takes a lot of skill and sensetivity to compose and play New music. Thanks for kicking it out in NYC, and thanks for posting this here.

Thanks for the compliments. This sort of music is a supply without a demand and is what I end up doing when I'm not working for someone.
I'm just about done with a CD of my own music and I'm trying to figure out how to include the video. I figure I can sell maybe 4 or 5 of them on the forum so I really don't have to worry about the budget Image
