Love at First Zum

Post by Billy Woo »

I just received my first Zumsteel Universal and WOW what a great sounding guitar. It came with a George L 66 pickup and this Zum really has great tone, punch and sustain. I tried it out on the Gig last Saturday night and got alot of compliments from the bar patrons. Does anyone know Bruce Zumsteg's Tel# and or Email address? Bronco Billy in LA

Hi Billy. How does it compare with your Sierra?

Hi Mike, They are both superb finely crafted music machines but the Zum is lighter and has a bit more punch and sustain than my older 'Olympic' Sierra. Still love 'em both. Had fun at Topper's in Eagle Rock, your band sounded pretty good, Who's that drummer?

Thanks Guys for the info, I contacted Bruce and am very pleased with this psg, now I know why I saw a Sea of "Zum" at the 2000 St. Louis Steel convention. Prices for new Zums are'nt as high as I expected also thanks to Larry Petree from Bakersfield for help and advice...
