I know lots of guys who completely restore and re/lacquer steel guitars. What I would like to know is which ones in your opinion are considered to be the very best at restoring a wood steel to as near new as possible. The guitar in question is a MSA double 10 all wood with natural lacquer finish.
Thanks for you opinions,
Ben

The man that Bobbe Sleazmour has doing his cabinets on restoration is top knotch in my book. I have a 70 Emmons push/pull completely restored with a Sho~Bud sunburst finish on the front and it is flawless. Maybe I can ask Bob Knight to post a picture of it on this thread since I don't have a clue as to how.

I am restoring a '75 Black Lacquer Emmons D10 and had Mike Cass handle the refinish. He also handled getting all the aluminum re-polished. It is going to look really good.
