Steel player at Titans game?

Post by Al Udeen »

Did anyone else see a closeup of a steel player, playing during the Titans-Jaguars game? he was playing a red steel,It was a top shot, showing both his hands & what looked like other players around him! Anyone know who it was? Do they have bands there during the games?

Al

I also saw that shot of the steel player. Looked as though he was playing a single 12. At first I thought it looked like a Sierra because it appeared to have a high frett board, but then I noticed the keys...most Sierras' are usually keyless. Great PR shot, to bad it wasn't longer!

Al, I have read somewhere, although this might not be the case, that those shots of the host city's downtown area are done during the week and are pre-recorded. I'm guessing the club is on Broad.

Larry,
You are probably right. Gregg and I got there around 11:30 and didn't see or hear any steel. So sorry we missed all that wonderful pre-game stuff with steel. Go Titans!
Thanks, Fred! Wonderful experience!

I must say it was so impressive to be in a crowd of 68,798. If the Steel was heard, prior to the game, that's so good for the Steel Guitar! T and Titan's rule!
