ProFex II......Is there a battery? Where is it located? Who fixes/replaces things like that? How long do they last?
When it's replaced, the memory bank erases?
WHO MIGHT have a CARD to reinstall the original affects. Does Scotty still sell them?
HELP! My inquiring mind really must know.

Ray, Check over in Electronics, there was a thread on this just the other day. As far as the memory cards go Ann Fabian from Carter stated that they sell the Roland cache card which Peavey says will work in the Profex.

Ray,
If you or anyone you know is using any MIDI sequencing software, you should be able to dump your information (sys-ex or system exclusive) to a file and reload it to your later after you've changed the battery.

Hi Ray,
Call Showcase Music on SE Hawthorne St here in Portland.
As I recall they have an authorized Peavey tech on staff.
