Since I bought my Hilton pedal in April 2000 I have had a number of good business experiences with Keith. He has always stood behind the product and help was always just a call away.

I was having a minor problem with it so I took it to the ISGC to Keith's booth. Keith took it home with him and corrected the problem way beyond my expectations. He truly does stand behind his product, is a person to be respected and a man of his word.

Ditto to what Jim said. In today's world fewer and fewer manufacturers stand by their products, unless you spend even MORE money for an "extended warrantee". (What a crock!) It is great to do business with somebody like Keith that goes the extra mile to see that you're satisfied with your purchase.
Case in point:
I bought the Hilton sustain unit from Keith right after they came out. A few months later I found out that Keith was now making them with power supply packs so you didn't have to use batteries. At the Convention is St. Louis the next year I asked him if he could modify mine so that I could use a power supply with it. I intended to pay him for the work and the power supply. Keith said "Bring me your sustain unit and I'll give you a new one with a power supply." What a deal! He didn't charge me anything. I think that this is above and beyond anything he was obligated to do but he didn't care. Since then I have purchased his volume pedal and I would buy anything he made that I thought I had a use for. Big manufacturers need to realize that it is personal service like this that really matters. It is great knowing that if I had a problem with my volume pedal Keith would be right there to take care of it. I've had it for over a year now so if I had a problem with it I would expect to pay for it to be serviced. The most comforting thing is if I paid for service and it still wasn't quite right, I know that Keith would do whatever it took to make it right.
I wish all manufacturers were like Keith Hilton and I wish they all had his attitude.

OK guys , I agree,the question is "Should I as a co., stock this great pedal?" Could I make a lot of customers happy by selling this product? I have sold a lot of Keith's teaching product in the past and love dealing with this fine person, and with volume pedal pots getting worse every day,we are going to have to do something in the near future. Claristat pots are getting horrible and the price is escalating out of control. Let me know your thoughts great forum guys.

I bought a Hilton in July and had it just a couple of months, and something went wrong and it quit on me. I called Herby Wallace (who I bought it from) and he immediately got a hold of Keith for me and I shipped it to him the first of one week and by the end of the week he had a new pedal shipped to me. I talked to him on the phone and he assured me that he would stand behind his product 100%....now I'm telling you, that can't be beat. I love my hilton pedal, it would be very difficult for me to return to a conventional "pot" pedal ever again. You would do yourself a favor by going by a Hilton retailer and trying this pedal.....It's great.................

My story is the same as those above on service etc, Keith is the greatest.

Bobbe STOCK THE HILTON PEDAL TODAY!!!! Sell it to every steel player you can, you will be doing them a great service.

I only use the pot pedal for practicing only.
Keiths pedal is the only way to go and would advocate anyone to buy one if they want to upgrade their sound in an instant.

Go for it Bobbe! Phil Griffin got one & was
going to let me try it, but I can't get it away from him long enough to try it on a gig!
He likes it and I just plugged it in a minute
or 2 here in the apt & I thought it was great! If you stock them, send me one & I'll
send you my MC card # if I like it as much as everyone else does! I owe myself one anyway,I've been so good all year & Xmas is just around the corner. Marilyn got me the L10K (for Xmas '95) you told me I needed back when I got the Derby. Mike Holder wound up getting the Derby! Nice guitar! Keith is a great guy to do business with and his products are great. It's as simple as that.

Keith Hilton's products are always great.

He's a honest and good person. I've know him since he was Junior High Principal in the late 60's. He then left and served his country faithfully in the Viet Nam War.

Later I became reaccquainted with him through the steel guitar, when I was pickin' on a Branson show.

Keith will level with you and he don't build junk.

Keith Hilton for all he has done for the steel guitar and steel players should be inducted into the Steel Guitar Hall of Fame. If I live long enough, I expect to see his name and image on one of those plaques in the SGHOF.
