Tommy,

My good friend and past premier bass player in my band, and fan of yours and Clay Blaker - Steve Watson, asked me to say "hey" to you, if I saw you on the Forum.

I remember seeing you play in Houston one night in 1998 when Clay was playing, and Jim Lauderdale also did a set or two. You did a terrific job!

I have since heard some of the cuts from your new efforts with Clay and they also are outstanding. Keep it UP!

Glad I can remember!

Hey Bill, thanks so much! Tell the "The Love Doctor" I said hello and tell him I am still enjoying his "Masters of the Telecaster" book he lent me!
Chas, thank you too! It was great to see you again. The morning before I caught my plane I couldn't stand it anymore so I went and picked up that Stringmaster. They let me carry it on the plane. I got it home and cleaned it up and promptly tried to use it on a record. It sounded great, I just need to really learn how to play it right. I was all psyched up to get serious with it until I heard some Tom Morrell stuff playing in a club in Dallas......oh well Image

Tommy,

Will tell Steve-o you said "hey". He almost bought me a really cool National Lap at Rockin' Robin, but, since he didn't have the extra bread, he just told me about it, took pictures and put it on his Photopoint site.
...Oh well. It was the thought... a very nice thought at that!

Hope to hear you play live again soon.

Missing Texas....
