Country Songs for BIAB?

Post by Guest »

Does anyone know where I can find Band In A Box files for the great standards of country music? Or even just chord charts?

thanks

Stephen, are you asking who has made these files. BIAB(PG Music) does not have such files that I am aware of and I have purchased about everything they have.

If such a thing is in existence,it will be because some one who has BIAB has sat down and entered the songs in his computer.

Many of us have a lot of the songs entered, seems somewhere there is a post about sharing files. If I can find it I will repost.

From time to time you will find someone selling BIAB files they have built from various Fake Books.

Stephen, I've been using BIAB for about 10 years to demo people's songs and create BG tracks for steel instrumentals. I would suggest copping a Country Music songbook like the Hal Leonard one and just transcribing the chords onto BIAB. On some of their new style disks they have some pretty good country patterns, so I would utilize them. You could tailor the songs to the length and key that you want. That's the whole beauty of BIAB, it's simplicity and flexibility.
