I believe Billy Bacon is the most known brother after Shorty, but there was another that I know of (Ed?) and the sister Opaline who worked for Wynn Stewart and Buddy Cagle.

Bill Bacon is the last of the Bacon boys. He lives here in Colo Spgs and is in poor health at this time. He told me recently that all of his brothers had passed on.

Norm Forest was not in Colo Spgs very long.
Only a short time in the early to mid 70's.

I first heard Wayne in Denver, CO playing some Cowboy Nightclub gig. I remember the drummer in the roadband that I was in at the time, sat on our night off and listened to the Wayne most of the night. We were very impressed. Did he play a unusal tuning on one neck of his double ten steel?

Also mentioned was the singer Nestor Eaton. Nestor tried to hire me for a gig once in and around NM and CO, but I had already been away from the wife too long and gave up the road.
