I turned on the TV last evening and found this guy doing a programme which was billed as 'comedy with the redneck funnyman'. I missed most of it but he had a band and lo and behold - a steel player.

Who is the comedian and who is the steel player - does anyone know?

Steel player could be Rob Childs. I believe he is playing with Hayley Mack now.
Try this link -- is he the guy on the left?
He used to play with Nadine Somers.
I just happened to find this info investigating country music in England -- you guys got a lot of stuff going there. I was surprised.

The steel player had a black hat on so it may be him. I have been on the linked site and got a list of gigs. I will go and see them live.
