I haven't a clue about the Norwegian beer, but did you know the United Nations recently voted Norway as being the best nation in the world in which to live ? Honest!! # 2 is Australia, and # 3 is Canada. For the past successive 7 years, the U.N. had voted Canada as # 1 but this year Canada slipped two notches to #3. (The U.S. was voted #6 this year).

Hi Neal, As a Swede I know everything about Norway!!! At least I have been touring many times in that country and I have a lot of very good friends there too! As an answer on your question I just say, bring your own beer from the taxfree shop. The beer in Norway is very expensive (even if you buy it in a shop) and some times the taste is a little bit thin (but you are used to that, ha, ha,) Bring your food too if you don´t want to eat "karbonade" every day!

Hello Neale!
As a Norwegian I know quite a bit about Norway:
- The beer is expensive about 4$-5$ for a 0,5 L glass of beer. About 8$-10$ for a six pack of 0,33 L bottles in a shop.
- Karbonade is the same as a burger with just the meat. Eaten together with boiled potatoes etc....
- There are other things to eat here than Karbonade. (We have MCDonalds Ha ha)
- It's a great country to live in yes!
Unfortunaly I live in Oslo, so I can't come to any of your gigs, but give me a call when you are at Gardermoen airport! 93499400 OK?
