Post by Andy Volk »

My friend Brad Bechtel and No Peddlers' expert moderator is still in the hospital following complications from surgery. Brad is a great guy, a first-class BB moderator and the proprietor of Brad's Page of Steel - a wonderful web site. Let's all send him some Forum get well wishes!
[This message was edited by Andy Volk on 03 April 2005 at 04:42 PM.]

His website meant everything to me when I first started playing, and he always took the time to respond when I emailed him about lap steel models etc.
Get well soon, Brad!

Best wishes,
Steinar

Brad's website got me back into steel guitars after a 15 year hiatus.

In his quiet and humble way, he has done so much for us. A genuine good human being.

Please get well soon Brad.

When I started looking into steel guitar a year ago, I couldn't believe my luck when I found Brad's web page. And his link to the SGF led me to a realm of fine people and great music. I'm betting a whole lot of folks had the same experience...Brad, we're all hoping you're back 100% very soon! -Steve

Brad,
I don't know what kind of surgery your recovering from, but I sure hope you feel better soon. You have been a great help to me and Lapdancer. I love you man! Just don't go changing your name to Brenda and watch your estrogen levels.;eek;

Get well soon, Brad! Your website was one of the first, and still one of the best, guitar resources on the web.

Plus, it's an honor to know you - and I'm glad I'm able to say, "I was in a band with that guy!" Or at least kind of, 'til you all switched beast for beauty (I was the former). Playing music with you is a blast - and I love your deep knowledge of music (even if you don't like the Waikiki Swingsters).
