Topic: Volume pedals. Which one? |

| I am trying to decide what brand/type of volume pedal to buy. It will be my first one, and I do not want to be unhappy with it after I become use to it's capabilities. I notice there are new models out that use no moving parts, and there are 'active', 'passive', and vintage models to consider. What is the best model for the most reasonable price? |

| I got a used Goodrich 120 and installed a new pot. It works great. Having said that I would buy a Hilton if money were no object. |

I have really enjoyed the Ernie Ball volume pedal I purchased four years ago.it has withstood beer soaked floors at gigs and remains quiet and responsive .
I have used it with electric and acoustic guitars.
lap steels and pedal steel.
works great. I find it sensitive to my nuanced swells when playing lap steel.
in the up/off position I can change cords w/o noise in the amp and line.
it also has a separate plug for your tuner. |

Gary, the Hilton may not be the lowest priced VP, but it's the one you'll always be happy with.
There is no discernable signal loss and no unwanted noise. |
