Can't open videos on Youtube

Post by Charles McGough »

When I try to look at a video on youtube it gives me a message that I don't have Java Script enabled or I don't have the latest version of
flash Player. I do have bothe. This problem began when I upgraded to IE 7.0. I get the same message with Firefox. What gives?

FWIW FF 2.0 is my primary browser and I just today upgraded to IE 7 and I don't have any youtube problems so IE 7 wouldn't seem to be the general issue.

Try reinstalling the flash player that I've uploaded to my server from this link Flash Player<font size="1" color="#8e236b"><p align="center">[This message was edited by Andy Sandoval on 17 December 2006 at 11:47 PM.]</p></FONT>

I removed the verison of Flash Player I had and installed the one linked on the Youtube site. This corrected the problem.
You have to go to the Control Panel-Add/Remove Programs and remove all other copies of Flash Player before downloading the new one or it won't work.
