Hey, now I can give Drum lessons...

Post by Jim Cohen »

... to a young African boy whose parents want to send him to me for a whole month! Hah! This is so cool, because, hey, I DON'T EVEN PLAY DRUMS! But, what the heck. I'll give it a try: after all, what do Africans know about drumming?!

Oh, and his family is really well off (widow of a former chief minister, I think) and they're gonna pay me directly with a big ole bank check. I'll be rolling in dough before you can say "Nigerian Scam Artist"! Image

Hey Jim, I'm right there with you.

I've sent them my "registration & processing" fees and I am now awaiting my first installment payment of $10,000,000!

I'll hire someone to give them drumlessons!

Hey guys, if you still have the originals of those scams would you please forward them to me AS ATTACHMENTS? If you can't forward as an attachment please grab the entire source code and paste it into an email and send it hither, with all haste in your dispatch. If you need a refresher on displaying email source codes read the sticky message linked to above the Computers Forum messages.

Jim,
I don't want them all. I am only interested in the most recent ones, and they should be connected with your activities on the SGF somehow (I am looking for new ISPs that scammers are using against the SGF). If they aren't connected with the SGF just send the most recent scam message (as an attachment). If I need more I'll ask.

No, what I mean is, in the future, do you want them all? I have no way of knowing which ones of these have anything to do with the SG Forum. They just come in by the dozens all the time. So I never know which ones to send to you, or not. Please advise!

Tell you what Jim, just grab the headers and paste them into a text file and send it to me once a week (separated by dashed lines). I'll parse the headers for the source IPs and check them against our blocklist, adding any new ones to the list.

Thanks in advance.
