If any members receive an email claiming to be from SUSART WORLD INC. and Susan Bryant, they are not coming from England as claimed. They are scams coming from Lagos, Nigeria.

Here is a snipette from the latest one to arrive:
quote:

Dear Friend,
My name is Susan Bryant, I am an artist with my husband James Bryant,We own JONES ART WORLD in London(United Kingdom)I live in London United Kingdom, with my two kids, four cats, one dog and the love of my life my husband James Jones.
< snip >
I am always facing serious difficulties when it comes to selling my art works to Americans, they are always offering to pay with MONEY ORDER OR CASHER'S CHEQUE, which is difficult for me to cash here in London United Kingdom.
< snip >
These payments are in MONEY ORDERS OR CASHER'S CHEQUE and they wouldcome to you in your name if you are willing to assist as a representative, so all you need do is cash the money order deduct your percentage and WESTERN UNION Charges then wire the rest back.
< snip >

I would like to ask members who receive one of these after 1 PM Eastern Time today, to forward it as an attachment to me for tracking. If you cannot forward it as an attachment, set your email options to display the full headers, then copy and paster just the headers into a new email and send it to me. All I require are the headers for tracking the source. The message body is already known and of no use to me.

Well, Sweet mother of God! How ridiculas is this? It really insults me that they would think that we would fall for that. After all the exposure that these clowns have been given............Geez, this takes the cake! Man, whoever falls for this type of thing has head their head in the sand!

I'd rather be opinionated, than apathetic!

Curt,

You are right, unfortunately there are still lots of people out, falling for those, although they are so easy to discover if you have some common sense.

I won the Austrian Lottery yesterday, the e-mail informing me of my win came from the Austrian Lottery Headquarters in London, England!?! Go figure!!!

Kind Regards, Walter

Well, OK, Susan, let's get started by first finding out which James it is, Bryant or Jones.

Fess up, now, my dear. Without this, there's hardly business to do.
