Depending on the BIAB version, you can "render to a wav file". Then use an MP3 conversion program to convert it to an MP3.
I'm not sure when they added the "render to wav" function but it's been in the last couple of versions. I think the new 2006 version will render directly to an MP3. |

There is provision for doing that in BIAB. When I want to burn a CD for my backup tracks, I convert them to an audio file and then transfer them to a CD.

In BB 2006, as Jack said you can do that, and you can also burn a cd from BB, I did not try that during beta, has anyone?

Is 2006 the earliest version of BIAB that will allow one to render a BIAB file to a WAV file, or an MP3 file ?
Thanks to all for your help.....Jim[This message was edited by James Quackenbush on 08 December 2005 at 11:53 AM.] |

I currently have V2005, but there were previous versions that would also render to a wav. I don't recall which ones or if they all did it. I've had all versions since V8 but I rarely use that function so really didn't keep track. |

You're in luck!!!! I just got notice from BIAB that the new 2006 version is in production. This one should really allow you to slice and dice!
