Anyone have a gmail account?

Post by erik »

My sister sent me an invitation. I plan on signing up but don't know why I'd use it. Seems they have a rotten privacy policy. But maybe joining now will grandfather me into something greater down the line....wishful thinking. Image

I use it extensively! Never had any issues, and I love the fact that I can send and recieve attatchements of up to 20 megs in size!

I say go for it, and if you don't use it, just keep it there until the day you need to exchange a huge file with somebody... Then you can just use if for that.

I've had one for several months. I like it a lot.

They allow large attachments that my (paid for) ISP email does not.

The privacy is not an issue. Their computers scan your email for keywords, then advertising shows up in the margins for products they think you want. This is not near as bad as it sounds. I don't mind it at all.

And it's FREE. I think you have to be invited to join. At least that's how it was. If anyone want's an invititation, email me.
[This message was edited by Joey Ace on 28 September 2005 at 05:10 PM.]
