I am running win98SE on a p4 3G processor. All of a sudden I cannot send email. I receive email fine. I have not changed anything or downloaded anything. Zone Alarm says outlook has internet access Any suggestions?? thanks winston may |

Have you emptied the Deleted Items and the Sent Items folders? Outlook Express will get bogged down if those two folders get too full, especially in Windows 98. |

Could be an ISP problem, too. Since it started without you changing anything. |

Jack, You are probably right. I have 3 computers online and they all act the same way. Guess I will wait until Monday to find out. thanks winston |

I had a similar problem. 'Phoned the service provider who gave me some syntax to perform with the 'run' command, and all was well again.

A couple of months ago, without any notice at all, SBC DSL began blocking port 25, the common SMTP port for sending email. I send all outgoing email via my domain email servers so this was a big inconvenience. I phoned SBC DSL tech support number and was transferred to India, where a nice Indian technician gave me the URL for the SBC Port 25 blocking Opt-Out page. I filled out the form fields, and submitted my request. A little while later the block was removed and I was once again able to send email through my Domain servers.
You may have to jump through a similar hoop.
