When I download a clip from the forum, on my Windows XP Home Edition PC, Windows Media Player tells me it can't find It. Any suggestions?

What happens when you use the File/Open drop-down menu and show it where the file is?

When you download the clip, you can usually right-click on the link to get a pop-up menu. One of the options in that menu is "save as". So you can direct the file to any location on you hard drive. The My Music folder might be a good place.

Billy,

Probably, you have just downloaded the link to the clip, not the clip itself. Next time, right click on the link, and choose "Save Target As", that way you are saving what the link points to, and not the link.

The other way, is to open the link in your favorite player, and use the "File" and "Save As" from the player.
