Also when one of you guys post something like this [url=http://steelguitarforum.com/Forum7/HTML/003328.html)]http://steelguitarforum.com/Forum7/HTML/003328.html)[/url] just a pop. Sounds like a corrup file in Windows. You could reinstall Windows and that would probably fix it. But be sure to backup anything you don't want to lose first. This is why I say get a copy of Drive Image. Backups take only 10 minutes or so and you don't have to reinstall all of you software. It's already in the disk image.

Profiles and emails on the Forum use "popup" windows. It you have a "popup blocker" installed, you should turn it off or disable it for this site.

Harley;
Turn off your popup blocker. If you use Windows XP with SP2 there is an option in the Internet Options to turn this off or on.

Here is how you can selectively allow desired popups in Internet Explorer for Windows XP SP2:

With Internet Explored open, go to Tools > Internet Options. Click the "Privacy" tab. At the bottom of this tab there is a checkbox labeled "Block Pop-ups" which is probably checked, thus ON. Next to it, on the right, is a button labeled "Settings." Click on this button. There is an input field at the top where you can add a trusted website to allow pop-ups from the sites in the list. Type or copy and paste this
Code:
http://steelguitarforum.com
into the input field and click the "Add" button. Do the same for banking or other trusted websites to allow their pop-ups, while still blocking all other unwanted ones (if you leave the checkbox checked).

There is also a Security Level combo box, and Medium is automatically selected. This is usually good enough for most people. If it isn't, go to that combo box and select High (Block All pop-ups, Use the CTRL Key to override). You can also choose the options to play a sound and or show information about blocked pop-ups.

WHen you are done inputting allowed sites and choosing options, click on Close, then click on OK, to close the main Internet Options box. Close and re-open Internet Explorer and revist the Forum. Your Profile and email pop-ups should now work.
