Hi guys, I have a couple of questions about Band in a Box that I hope you can help me with.I have Mega 12 BIAB
1. How can I get a new chord on each beat? I can only get a chord every two beats.
2.When I add my steel to a tract, it asks me if I want to keep it or not. How do I know if I haven't heard it yet? When I bypass this window and play it, the window disappears on me.
I bet you can't tell that I'm new at this BIAB thing, can you. ha ha thanks in advance Larry Lorows

I'll answer number one, since it's easy, and the hour is late. You just put a comma between the two chords you want on the first half of the measure, i.e. G,G7 C,C#dim is one measure with one chord per beat.

Thanks Leon, That really is going to make it nicer for going from C down to A7 in half steps. I'll try it tonight. This getting up at 5am to go to work has just naturally gotta stop. ha ha Larry

Larry,
On your second question just hit the OK when the window comes up asking you if you want to keep the take. After BIAB processes your audio it will come back to the beginning and the window will close. Next hit the play and give a listen. If you don't like the take then click on the "EDIT" and then on the "UNDO" and the audio that you recorded will be discarded.

thank you George, I think I'll be going to your site a lot.
I think I read some place here that you were at the Mashbash last year. I sat right in front of everybody all day long. Jim Cohen is my hero. I really like jazz and western swing,(in other words, C6th) and Jim and a couple of others really impressed me. A few of the players were so high and tinney, it hurt my ears and I had to get up and move to the back while they were on.
Thanks to both of you guys. Larry
