I recently downloaded Spy-bot search and destroy.Ran great,zapped a bunch of spy-ware.
The problem is that now I cant seem to run Adobe 6.0.Tried to un-install and re-install,
no luck...Now I cant re-install Adobe at all.
Tried to re-install with Firewall disabled, even with pop-up blocker disabled,no luck...Checked the Spy-bot back up files but dont recognise any of the items it zapped(dont have much of a grasp of
computer lingo) Can anyone help?

Thanks

Larry,

I run Spy-bot 1.2 without any problems. I noticed it has a recovery button. I suppose you tried that without any luck.

What Adobe program are you trying to run? If it's Acrobat Reader, get rid of 6.0 and go back to 5.1. I had a lot of trouble with XP Home and Acrobat Reader 6.0. 5.1 was never a problem.
