When ever I try to send an email on Netscape Communicator I get a message that "MSIMN caused an invalid page fault in module KERNEL32.DLL at 014f:bff77449." Sometimes the last numbers are different like 77444 or the like. This also happens when I try to open Outlook Express on Explorer 5.5. I am using Windows 95 on an IBM Aptiva PC. I've tried a number of fixes that are on the different troublshooting websites but nothing has worked. Does anyone know more about this problem? Thanks in advance. LH

Larry,

Kernel32.dll errors were a HUGE problem with Windows 95. Microsoft has gone ahead and stopped supporting the operating system and has discontinued release patches to fix bugs with it. Also, Windows 98 users...this is the last year for support from micro$oft for all versions of Windows 98. The possibilities for a fix on a Kernel32.dll error are very long and the recommendation I have to you is to upgrade your system. However, if that is not an option, I will point you in the direction of some very good website for debugging Kernel32 errors. Just a warning, it will take some serious time to debug the kernel errors.

Mark, thanks for your advice. I have solved the problem by going through all the fixes for Kernel 32 that I could find. It happened to be a "Happy Worm" virus (Trojan).Right now the computer is working flawlessly but who knows how long that will last. I certainly learned how to find error fixes on the internet. Thanks, LH

Larry -

What anti-virus product are you using?

Just curious.

John, I'm using Norton Anti-Virus. To find that Happy Worm thing I just kept searching on Google and trying the fixes that I found until something worked. It didn't really take a long time. Maybe I just got lucky. LH
