Print Screen still works just fine in all Windows versions that I know of. From the Windows NT Help:
quote:
To copy the window or screen contents

To copy an image of the window that is currently active, press ALT+PRINT SCREEN.

Or, to copy an image of the entire screen, press PRINT SCREEN.

Tip

To paste the image into a document, click the Edit menu in the document window, and then click Paste.

Note: If you want to send it, the document can be an HTML email.

Joe, I don't mean to butt in but you can also press "Print Screen" button then open a Word document and click Paste then save it as a Microsoft Word document, or Web Page (html) or Text only or a couple of other formats. I don't know about everyone's Word but I have to have a document open before I click on "Print Screen" or the Paste function is not available. Pardon my butting in. Gere

In most instances, the most efficient format for sending in email is .jpg, so you should paste the image into a program that can output it as a .jpg file. (Word tends to make "heavy-weight" documents that take lots of K-bytes). My favorite program for this purpose is IrfanView32, available as freeware from www.irfanview.com. You can also use it to resize a photo, convert to other formats, do slide shows, etc. It works well for just the purpose you describe.
