2002 so i bought it.(i'll give it another try i guess!)..My question is i may purchase a new computer in the next 3-6mos.If i install this program on the computer i am now using & register it at their webite; can i install this same program on my new computer once i purchase it?? Just wanting to know if this is OK(legal) to do this..

Ron,
I do not know the specifics with the serial situation with Norton System Works, but normally when you purchase software it is for one PC. However, there are companies that offer multiple license copies of some software packages. Maybe write Symantec an email. http://www.symantec.com

Ron,
Glad to hear it!
I have recently seen some ads in Best Buy and Comp. USA for McAfee and Norton for $5.00! This is of course with mail-in rebates, but heck, $5.00!!!
