This is probaby old stuff, but what do you need and how do you transfer the presets from the session 2000 or profex, etc. to the computer? Guess the hard way is to look at each one and type it in one by one, but there has to be a better way. Thanks for any info.

you'll need a MIDI hookup for your sound card, and a piece of software (sequencer, patch librarian) that will accept and make "sysex" dumps ("system exclusive" or SYSEX is MIDI data such as settings and patch info that are specific to a particular device)

if you have any MIDI S/W already on your computer you may already have this capability. If you don't then... it's probablty far more than you'll want to deal with just to save a couple of presets.
