8 String Dobro String Spacing?

Is the string spacing on an 8 string Dobro the same as on a 6 string? I'm referring specifically to "Dobro" brand guitars.

Across the 8 strings on my Dobro is 55 mm at the nut and 65 mm at the bridge. So the gaps are 7.9 mm to 9.3 mm. Actually the gaps tend to vary more than that.

The 6 string spacing is wider than the 8 string spacing on "Dobro" brand dobros.

I'd like to know the spacing on the 8 string Beard/Auldridge model guitar. I've got my eye on one of those down the road.
