Cursor Speed While Very Slow Using Left & Right Arrow Keys

Post by Al Gershen »

Hi Group:

I just bought a used HP Pavilion 8250 PC and I noticed that when navigating the cursor on the brouser screen (say while typing this message) with the Left and Right Arrow Keys, the cursor moves very slow.

This computer has a 266 MH Intel Pentium chip but the cursor speed is about 1/2 MPH. Image

Is this an adjustable item in Windows 95?

I look forward to your suggestions.

Regards.....

Hi Al,

Click on the start button, go to settings, then control panel. double click on keyboard.
You can adjust the repeat rate there.

Hi Rick Morris:

Thanks for your suggestion.

I'll check into the Keyboard setting tonight after work. (I'm replying to you from WebTV.)
