| I have a Hammond organ with a built in leslie unit,along with an internal speaker. I was wondeing if there was anyway I can mount a 1/4" jack,where I can plug this into my PA system. I know I could just mike it to the speaker,but I'd prefer to go directly into the organ itself. Any help would be appreciated.-----Jim |

Yes, you can electronically get the sound out
of the Hammond & into the PA, but the only way
to get the "revolving" sound from the organ is
to mike the speaker itself. It's physically in
motion, so going direct from the organ to the PA
will miss out on that. |

| If the internal amp is a tube amp and you wish to bypass the speakers, bear in mind that tube amps do not like to run without a load (speaker). And a line out is not a load. So you will need a dummy load/attenuator. There are several companies making excellent ones. I can provide a list of links if you need it. |

Just remove the output tubes, and you won't
need a "load". That's what I did on my old
'65 Hammond. I stuck in a preamp out jack
that gets connected to a Motion Sound Pro3-T. |
