Anyone know anything about this little single 10" combo bass amp. Found this at a yard sale today. 10" speaker is date coded 1976. |

They are a very basic 100-watt solid state amp. Not very loud compared to a comparable 100-watt tube amp - basically a practice amp for bass. With a decent speaker it might make a good steel practice amp. Nasty sounding for 6-string guitar, though. I'd put a 10" bass driver in it to use it for steel - probably the best choice for a warmer tone and something to handle the wattage. |

Thanks you guys. I might just open the baffle board up and drop in a twelve. I want to use it for a practice amp and the 10 that is in it is not good. |

I have an Ampeg SVT-100 solid state bass amp that has two 8 inch Imminence speakers and it sounds nice with my jazz box. Have to use some effects though as it doesn't have Reverb. |
