I'm not going to go deep here, but...
I bought an old Sho-Bud single channel from a fellow member here, and when it came today, it did not work. Nothing but an incredibly loud roar. Needless to say, I am very disappointed. Anyone in the Nashville area work on these old amps? I talked to A. J. Nelson and Paul F. Sr., they don't know anyone.

Hi Mike, I work on vintage amps (former tech for Matchless) in my spare time. I'm out of town (I live in Donelson) until the end of the month, but would be happy to check it out for you then if you want me to. |

Mike, if someone else hasn't stepped forward before you return, you're on. Thanks.

I called Woody this morning; he has it, and is going to check it out for me. He took care of a speaker problem for me once, so I figured he was going to be a good bet. |

Hey Mikey, in case your other repair guy is not successful, you might give Bill Crook in Goodlettesville a shot at it. He is a Forum member also. Good luck and come see me some time.
