In particular the Latency Free monitor that has the effects included in the signal..
I had to copy a steel part on a 'cover' version of How's the World Treating You - Alison Krauss, James Taylor
there is also a link to an mp3 where the rhythm section is on one channel and the steel is on the other just so you can hear the steel in isolation..
It was NOT an easy piece to play, the double octave harmonics at the end of verse two were NOT easy.. Especially the high E - D gliss. They're all played at the 5th fret except the E-D which is chimed at the 15th and fretted at the 10th.
The unison 2nd and 4th strings on the second third and fourth notes of the bridge were kind of awkward as well.
This is a VERY rough mix with only part of the backing.

Split Track
The track is far from finished and the voices are only "Guide Vox"
Later today I'm going to try it with a good mike (Beyer MC-740) on a Martin D-41 and Taylor 814CE-6L and also a resonator. I'll post my findings.
