I have tried several units and cant decide which one i like best. I haven't tried a T.C. G-Major yet. Who else has tried many and which one do you like best. Several guys told me they like the M-300 but only trying it a short time i haven't got much out of it yet. They must be pretty good because some of the heavy Weights are using them. Give us your opinion.Thanks. |

Roland GP-100, clean. I have the owners manual and several presets that I used while out with the Lonestar Guys. This unit was also used by Michael Britt, the guitarist for Lonestar for a while, so there are also many of his settings stored in the unit, labled by song title. Great sounding unit both direct and through an amp. One of the few pre's that i have used that really sounded great for steel, lap and guitar.
$275 plus shipping.

Hello Gary,
I am a Lexicon fan, and their new MX200 is a steel players dream. Independent controls for reverb and delay. Quite inexpensive...$200?
Lexicon does not offer overdrive, fuzz, distortion, etc. Put your favorite box in-line if you use that effect.
I rack space. Power supply is external.
hope this helps.

The Digitech 2112 is the best I ever tried and I've tried a bunch of them. When I found this one, I quit looking. Since they are no longer made, I bought a second one for a spare.
