When an amp (solid state/tubes) is taken in to a service tech for a complete check up, what is the standard check list that a tech uses for prognosis?

There may be a "basic" checklist. But, whenever I got an amp for repair I concentratred on what the reported problem(s) was.

But, generally, I always check all connections such as the molex connectors in the older Peavey's (and spray contact cleaner one the male and femle pins), spray volume control cleaner/lube in each pot, check the jacks, do a visual inspection of the entire amp's electronics including the PC boards, check for loose pots and jacks, etc. Electronic testing, with a signal generator and scope, is done when it's repaired so that's not needed in final checkout. But I always tested amps with a guitar, steel or bass depending on what the amp was used for as the "final" test.
