I'm in the process of selling my session 500. IN its place I'm buying an Evans 120 watt Evans 80. Playing an MSA Super Slide with a little reverb and delay. I'm wondering how the Evans sound will stack up against the Session 500? I love the tone of the 500 but its too heavy to move so I'm going lighter. Hope I'm not giving up too much tone wise. Anybody have experience with both amps? Thanks

Rick

Rick, I sure liked the tone of my old 500 too. But I'd go out & hear someone through an Evans and want one of them. I ended up with an Evans rackmount pre and 2 Evans 15" speakers. I still like that 500 but I don't think you'll be sorry.

Thanks guys! Brad I can't take no more trips to a back Dr. either.

I've heard some guys through Evans amps before and really liked the tone so I'm hoping this amp will go nicely with my superslide.
