One of my Emmons volume pedals has a scratchy pot. I went to spray it and it appears sealed. Can these be sprayed to remove noise or are they completely sealed. Thanks in advance for your help. Boo |

There are tabs that hold the back on the pot. It can be removed and the pot sprayed. However, in most cases, when a volume pedal pot starts to scratch it's not "dirty" but worn out. Spraying may clear it up, temporarily but ultimately it will have to be replaced. |

Bobby, depends on how the pot is mounted (oriented). The best way is to remove the pot. The tabs are hard to get at when mounted. |
