Do they still make the "do it yourself" recone kits for BW speakers? I have a 4 ohm in an old Session 500 that has a hole in the cone. I would like to repair it.

Thanks, Dave

Dave, of course we still manufacture the Black Widow with replaceable baskets. This is the only way that the Black Widow can be purchased. I am amazed that other companies have not tried to copy this design as it is more economical than reconing and it takes about 5 minutes to accomplish.

If you wish to purchase a replacement basket for your BW speaker, simply locate your nearest authorized Peavey dealer here; http://www.peavey.com/support/dealerlocator/

or contact the factory parts department by calling toll free at 1-877-732-8391 and select the "Parts" option. We will be glad to assist.

NOTE; The Session 500 used a 1502 when it was introduced in 1980. I recommend the 1501-4 ohm rb(#00027020).
