I,m currently playing my tele and my s10 both thru a nv400.I run the tele in the top jack,and the steel in the lower jack.it seems to work o.k.but am i doing any damage to the amp.does anyone else do this?

Forgot to mention,i,m using a profex11 on the steel,and a boss cs3,and a ibanez analog delay on the tele.

Bill, you ain't gonna hurt that Nashville 400. Its made to play and your set-up is just fine. I've been doing it for years. Ray

If you plug two instruments in to the Nashville 400 (and most other Peavey Amps) both inputs become low gain. Won't hurt anything.

The input sensitivity is arranged in this manner so that the preamp is not overdriven. fyi.

I did that for years, and then got a $90 mixer, put guitar and steel in it, and then run the output through my VP (I found the PV volume pedal circuit seemed to cut my gain and take away a little presence)... now everything goes through my VP, (and any FX in line) and I have separate EQ/GAIN... works nice if you play guitar as bad as I do.
