What's worst - heat stroke or going bananas from an extremely annoying version of a Leslie speaker?

I had the same problem. My fan has a switch which reverses the fan, making it blow air toward the ceiling. I reversed the air flow direction switch and ran the fan on low just to move the air. Maybe this will work for you.
