What is the major difference between these two?
I have an older RV-3..(can't seem to find another backup unit FS reasonable). I'm leaning toward the new RV-5.. I can see that the 5 has "preset" locations for the Delay times. Are there any other differences..ie..one better than the other? Thanks

The RV-3 has delay or reverb or a cobination of both. The RV-5 is reverb only but has more selections of reverb such as "spring"

I have both in one pedal setup with the RV-5 going into the RV-3 setup for delay. This allows me to use the RV-5 only for reverb or with the RV-3 for delay and reverb with out touching either unit.

Also, Frenchy Messier suggested that you mix a bit of the amps reverb with a digital reverb for a warmer sound. Simple but nice.

I hope this helps...

Len.. sorry, I'm a little thick in the head. Wouldn't you get the same effect, if you used the RV3 for delay...and used the Spring Reverb in your amp? I guess I don't see understand what using the 2 together, does for you.
Also, I have been using a little bit of reverb in my 112..plus the RV3 gives me a little. (at 9oclock)..and the delay I run (at 2 oclock)..and the mix on No. 7..and just crack the left knob..for overall effect. Is this right?
