Due to strong popular demand and the fact that they have become a practical necessity for the working Steel Player, the Super Bro 2 is again being produced by Goodrich: Super Bro 2B.
- It is battery-operated. But WAIT. Battery life is a full year* or more. And, at the end of this time, batteries can be replaced with new ones in less than 2 minutes. This eliminates the plug-in power supply.
- This new unit operates exactly like the Super Bro 2 and like that unit, it effectively doubles as an additional instrument (a Dobro). It is perfect for studio work (there is nothing more quiet than battery operation).
- Convenient switch allows complete battery bypassing (straight-through operation). Battery power is off at this time.
- *9-volt battery life is based as follows: with switch in the Dobro mode for 50 minutes, 5 days a week battery life will be at least one year. This would be using the Dobro mode 17% of the time. Less than this would, of course, increase battery life.
