Yes, the box was on the pourch when I returned home this morning.
While unpacking the box my first thought was, this little amp will never handle the tone & volumes of the big shows with the little 12" speaker & light weight of the amp itself.
Anyway, I plugged the Sho Bud in & powered it up, dialed in the mids Etc. To my delight ,this little amp is a KILLER! What tone & volume came out of this little package was equal, to say the least ,to my NV400.
Looks like I will be selling off some equipment in the near future,,NV400,Tubefex,Profex Etc.
Thanks Peavey for great amp & thanks Carter Steel for the fast shippment.
Now if I can just get the SGBB

Congratulations Richard on your new amp! I've only owned two amps in the past 30 yrs and both were Peaveys and more than likely, Peavey will get my next amp money! With a Sho-Bud, a Peavey amp, and by adding a Black Box, you'll definitely have the tone, all you'll need to do then, is add the touch!!

Mine was delivered today also!!! This little beauty just passed the practice room test and I love its tone. It really does have tone! Trust me, with no effects, you can get a sweet tone. I'm going to use it this weekend and I'm pretty sure I'll have to use the line out on it to run through the board. I'm a session 500 guy and I'm used to having plenty of steam when I need it. Nevertheless; I have owned 4 Session 500's and a Nashville 400 (I hated the NV400, sold it immediately for the Tone was terrible) and I think this amp is my ticket to not ever carrying one of those beasts (500's)again.

Kurt, the 112 will cut through as good as the 500. I used a 500 for 15 years.

I played a show in a theatre with Tommy Cash about 2 months ago. We were going through a rehersal and the sound guy had the voice mics set up but didn't have mics setup for the amps. The Sound guy was in the back setting the mics and Tommy asked him about micing the amps and he commented "The steel doesn't need a mic", but he did mic everything. The sound guy used to do audio for Martina McBride so he knew what he was doing.

I usually have the pre gain on 4 and the master gain on 5.
