Peavey 1502

I use a PV 1502 in an Evans with great results. My 1502 doesn't have an aluminum dust cover. Does Peavey make a 1502 basket with an aluminum dust cover? If so, what kind of tonal changes might I notice? Any help would be appreciated. I figure there might be a few more highs. Thanks.

The 1502 Black Widow is not presently manufactured with an aluminum dust cover, only the 1501-4 shallow basket Black Widow. However, there are several steelers that own early '90's 1502's and they prefer them over the 1501.
