I've got my old pickup off, and ready to install my True tone. Does it matter which way the pup sits on the neck? I mean does one end have to be turned so it will be under the 10th string, the other under the 1st? ThanksTerry

Terry, You might want to turn the pickup so that the wires are closest to the hole through the body of the guitar. Other than that, it doesn't make any difference.

Some pickups have different length magnets in there. In that case, the shorter magnets go under the smaller strings. ALA old fender
