I know this has been dealt with before, but I'm not sure I completely understood the answers. I think I need to replace the speaker in my Session 500 -- are replacement speaker baskets still available for Black Widow speakers of those years (early 80s). Thanks in advance. Boo

Contact Mike Brown at Peavey and he will help you get it done. Also the new baskets will not work in the old magnet with the spider on the back he will help you with that also

Boo, the first original Session 400 was shipped with a JBL speaker made for Peavey. After that, it was a long story in the creation of the Black Widow speaker.

Black Widow baskets that are manufactured at this time will not fit the early, early BW speakers. However, the Super Structure version and all BW's to date will work with present baskets.

Thanks, Mike -- I'll have to look to see which speaker is in me Session 500.

Also, I sent you an email last week and look forward to hearing back from you. Thanks in advance, Boo
