Anyone try out one of these things yet?
Looks interesting. I haven't had much luck with multieffects before since my steel pickups overdrive the input pretty easily on these. I've heard of people using the regular POD so maybe I should try this out. I'd want to use it as the first device in the chain.

I use a Pod XT regularly (direct to the board) and love it. I believe the latest XT model now has a 15-inch speaker cabinet. I've also used it in front of my Nash 1000 - just set all the amp EQ controls to "neutral" and it's great. Also, I recommend getting the mounting bracket that attaches to a mic stand.
