Quick question:
I'm sure that most of you RV users out there use plun-in supplies, but if you ever had to run on battery only, how long did it last?
I have a buddy who's getting about 4-6 hours and he thinks that there's a problem somewhere. I think that these pedals are battery hogs, and 4-6 hours sounds about right.
But I'm guessing, and I'd like to give him a better answer.
Anyone have the facts?

Andy....I'd say you are right! They are Battery Hogs...or at least that's been my experience with them. |

A battery per night is about what I've heard about the RV 3. I simply accept that you don't run these on batteries. Doesn't sound like anything's wrong. Just a fact of life. |

Hey Guys, batteries are to costly in the first place,...use that little transformer, and "plug'er in" better sound, no distortion.2 9-volts are 5 or 6 dollars Thanks for letting me horn in, Ron |

Looks like we all had the same experience. Any stompbox I ever used with a battery was good for a one night stand...MAYBE ......JD |

Mine eats batterys but would not use anything els, get a trans. I had one transformer go out so I found one at a flee market for 2 bucks, as long as the voltage is the same and the polarity is the same. the pol. and volt diagram is on top next to the trans plug. |

Yep, mine eat batteries too. One a night for each. Use the adaptor. I've had little or no trouble with them. |

You'll probably find that any pedal that has "digital" processing in it will guzzle batteries. I've had a battery last 15 gigs in a fuzz pedal where an RV-3 wont even get thru one gig on a battery.
